Human Resources Administrator

Hunter-Davisson, Inc. is a commercial HVAC-R Design Build Mechanical Contractor seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. The person we are seeking is a team player who is highly organized, detail oriented, and demonstrates outstanding customer service.

Hunter-Davisson, Inc. (HD) has been serving businesses in Oregon and SW Washington since 1965 and became Employee Owned in 2020. Our brand and reputation for providing quality HVAC and refrigeration service, preventative maintenance and installations in the commercial market has led to our continued success.

Status: Full-time
Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Some of the daily job functions and duties include:

  • Process weekly payroll for hourly employees and semi-monthly payroll for salaried employees.
  • Submit certified payroll reports monthly.
  • Process and distribute paystubs.
  • Confidential filing of HR and payroll documents; create and maintain all personnel files.
  • Constant participation in HR project work.
  • Coordinate employee travel plans.
  • Update HR databases as changes occur.
  • Mail COBRA packets to former employees and enroll in continuing coverage if elected.
  • Benefits administration including processing contributions monthly.
  • Track employee time off and leaves (sick, vacation, OFLA/FMLA, etc.).
  • Keep inventory of uniforms and apparel. Order more as necessary.
  • Process on/off-boarding paperwork as dictated by on/off-boarding checklists.

Physical requirements

Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
