Project Manager

Hunter-Davisson, Inc. is a commercial HVAC-R Design Build Mechanical Contractor seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team. The person we are seeking is a team player who is highly organized, detail oriented, and demonstrates outstanding customer service.

Hunter-Davisson, Inc. (HD) has been serving businesses in Oregon and SW Washington since 1965 and became Employee Owned in 2020. Our brand and reputation for providing quality HVAC and refrigeration service, preventative maintenance and installations in the commercial market has led to our continued success. 

Status: Full-time
Reports to: Construction Operations Manager

Some of the daily job functions and duties include:

  • Project Managers are expected to simultaneously manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Proactively transition projects from Engineering into Construction.
  • Manage the financial health and performance of projects.
  • Forecast project costs & labor hours monthly. Submit cost to complete estimates.
  • Primary customer & subcontractor contact during design & construction.
  • Proactively review project scope and identify required resources to achieve project goals.
  • Review project plans estimate and scope of work with Field Foreman. Define project responsibilities.
  • Communicate and coordinate manpower requirements with Superintendent.
  • Perform periodic job walks to check on progress of project and field questions.
  • Maintain currency with Hunter-Davisson standards, HVAC systems and building codes.
  • Proficient in the use of computers. Programs include: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PDF writer such as Bluebeam and will become proficient in Viewpoint Construction Management software.

Physical requirements

Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
