Chilled water plant upgrade
Overview:
Hunter-Davisson was fortunate to have the opportunity to assist with the original conversion of this old correctional facility into a transition center for the homeless. And when the 20-year-old chiller needed to be replaced, HD worked with the Energy Trust of Oregon to help secure funding for this critical project.
Highlights:
- The controls for the chilled water plant were upgraded to new Honeywell DDC.
- The existing 400-ton chiller was replaced with two 200-ton chillers for added efficiency.
