A Golden Foundation
Hunter-Davisson was founded in 1965 when Harold Hunter and Joe Davisson purchased the refrigeration division of Monroe Machinery. From the start, they built the company on the Christian Principle of The Golden Rule: treat people the way you want to be treated. That mindset, paired with technical skill and a relationship-first approach, set the stage for lasting success.

- Harold Hunter retired and Joe Davisson became President in 1983.
- Dean Glover, Greg Pelser, and Barbara Dybvig became owners in 1984.
1995 - 2015
Growth, Leadership, Legacy
A new generation of leaders drove continued growth and refinement while preserving our commitment to quality, trust, and long-term partnerships across the Pacific Northwest.

- Greg Pelser named president in 1998.
- Jeff Davisson and Dave Wright became owners and Vice Presidents in 1999.
- Company growth required construction of a new operations building in 2001.
- Dean Glover served as EVP until he retired in 2010.
